The Who x Modfather Clothing - TW/3015 Exclusive The Marquee Black - T-Shirt
On November 24th 1964, The Who played the first of 22 consecutive Tuesday night gigs at The Marquee Club in London. The band were paid £50 for each gig.
During this period, the group were appearing anywhere they could, playing in back rooms in pubs and small clubs in and around the London area.
This T-shirt features the artwork from the Who's residency poster at The Marquee, which shows Pete in a classic high energy swinging arm guitar pose.
The swing tag is a reproduction ticket for one of the gigs at 90 Wardour Street, a nice collector's memento.
