The Who x Modfather Clothing - TW/3012 Exclusive Lily Drum Skin Ecru - T-Shirt
This T-shirt references one of the most iconic drum kits of all time, Keith Moon's 1967 Pictures of Lily set.
Pete Townsend was apparently inspired to write the song 'Pictures of Lily' after seeing a vintage pinup picture of Lillie Langtry, a successful actress and the mistress of the future King of England, Edward VII.
The design reproduces that stunning 'The Who' sunbeam logo with the accompanying picture of Moon's face to the base.
Interesting fact: Keith Moon explained to Go magazine that his drum kit took five people six months to complete and cost $5,000, a huge sum for a drum kit at the time, especially one he'd occasionally destroy as part of his explosive performances.
